Hi, my name’s John

My name is John and I run Hikes for Hounds.  I started Hikes for Hounds because friends suggested after walking their dogs during the winter months that I should do it for a living. It seemed the perfect opportunity to combine my love of animals and working outside.

I have always enjoyed spending time with animals and as part of my degree I studied animal behaviour. I therefore really know how important it is to keep animals amused with play and exercise.  Whether I am walking your dog or feeding your pet, I can assure you that I will treat your pet as if they are my own by providing love, cuddles and fun whilst they are under my care. I have also recently completed a canine first aid course.
